TrackSpace Policies
To maintain a high-quality marketplace experience for both artists and studios, TrackSpace has established the following listing policies. All studios applying to be listed on TrackSpace must review and agree to these policies before being approved on the platform. These guidelines ensure that artists can confidently discover, book, and work in professional recording environments while studios receive reliable and qualified booking requests.
1. Studio Eligibility
• Operate as a professional recording studio or commercial recording space
• Be available for hourly or session-based bookings
• Provide a clean, safe, and professional environment for artists
• Have industry-standard recording equipment and acoustically treated rooms
• Maintain consistent availability for bookings
• Be able to communicate reliably with artists regarding session scheduling
TrackSpace reserves the right to approve or decline any studio application based on these eligibility standards.
2. Listing Accuracy Requirements
• Accurate studio name and location
• Real photos of the studio space
• A clear description of the studio environment and equipment
• Accurate pricing or hourly rate information
• Any relevant session rules or requirements
Studios may not use misleading images or misrepresent equipment, and TrackSpace may request updates if information is found to be inaccurate.
Booking Reliability
• Honor confirmed booking requests
• Communicate promptly with artists
• Maintain an updated availability schedule
• Provide clear session access instructions
Consistent cancellations or poor communication may result in removal from the platform.
Quality Standards
• Clean and organized recording environment
• Functional professional equipment
• Respectful, professional atmosphere
• Safe access to studio
Studios with consistent complaints may be reviewed or removed.
Trackspace Booking & Cancellation Policy
1. Booking & Payment Authorization
All sessions booked through Trackspace require a valid payment method at the time of booking.
Your card will not be charged immediately upon submitting a booking request.
Payment is only processed once the studio accepts and confirms your booking.
Upon acceptance, 100% of the session fee is charged upfront.
2. Standard Cancellation Policy (Sessions Under 5 Hours)
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session are non-refundable.
This applies regardless of the reason for cancellation.
3. Extended Session Exception (5+ Hour Bookings)
For sessions booked 5 hours or longer, a partial refund may apply:
If canceled within 24 hours of the session, the user will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
This exception exists due to the higher upfront commitment for longer sessions.
4. Short Notice Bookings (Same-Day / Within 24 Hours)
Any booking made within 24 hours of the scheduled session time is considered a Short Notice Booking.
For these bookings:
100% of the session fee is charged immediately upon acceptance
All payments are final and non-refundable, regardless of session length or cancellation timing
5. Studio Acceptance
All bookings are subject to studio approval.
A booking is not confirmed until the studio has accepted the request.
Trackspace is not responsible for declined or unaccepted bookings.
6. User Responsibility
Users are responsible for ensuring availability before booking.
By submitting a booking request, users agree to these terms and authorize Trackspace to charge their payment method upon studio acceptance.
No-Shows
If a guest fails to arrive for a scheduled session without prior cancellation, the booking will be considered a no-show and no refund will be issued.
Agreement to Policy
By confirming a booking on TrackSpace, guests acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy. TrackSpace reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time in order to maintain a reliable and fair marketplace for both studios and artists.
Removal from Marketplace
Cancellation Rules
• Clearly communicate notice requirements and any cancellation fees
• Make reasonable efforts to avoid last-minute cancellations
• Artists and studios should resolve scheduling conflicts directly
Violation of the following may be subject to removal for studios and artists:
• Repeated cancellations
• Misleading information
• Negative user experiences
• Unprofessional behavior
• Policy violations
Policy Updates
TrackSpace may update these policies periodically. Studios will be notified of significant updates. By submitting an application, studios agree to comply with these listing policies.
